Travels

December 7th, 2009

HI!

I am still having a break and am travelling. It’s really good for me to take time out and experience new things! I read a lot of books and walk a lot. I just love people watching. It would be nice to get to know more people in the travels though. Mostly it’s quick chats and then we part ways. Still lovely!

What is happening to Bollywood?

November 4th, 2009

HI!

I’ve always loved Bollywood movies. Lately I’ve had to reevalue that. I went to see Mrs Khanna, Blue and All the best the fun begins. Mrs Khanna at least had some warmth. But where was the dancing and the big families?! I really missed that. Then it was time for Blue and the other one. These are the worst films I’ve seen. They have no heart. Hardly any dancing. Horribly rude and obnoxious baby-mind men and sleezy camera work. Bad taste. Bring the back some lovely films please

A different place

October 1st, 2009

I enter the grounds of different place.

With rubble, leaves, branches on the ground - a mess.

Snakes everywhere, insects.

And people of all mindsets.

No teacher here. Not here.

I pack. I go.

Where is my teacher?

October 1st, 2009

I enter the grounds of the temple.

Deserted. Spotless. Even the birds don’t sing.

No dancing leaves.

I watch, wait. All that is here is emptiness.

Desolate.

Something will happen. I sit down.

Nothing happens.

My dear friend gave me this mantra. I’ve had a read about it on the internet, but I am not much wiser. Still even if I don’t understand, the words feel nice to say.

Meditation - does it work?

August 24th, 2009

Hi!

Does it work to do meditation? What good does it do? Well, having recently done mystic rose meditation, dynamic and kundalini for nine days and then stopped doing any meditation for about a week, I can assure you that it works. Starting again yesterday with the no mind meditation and dynamic meditation today, I feel so much more clarity and not as overwhelmed with the news and changes that I am facing. Need a poem to cheer up your day? Check my silly ones in this blog!

A grass seed sprouting

Poems and silly thoughts

August 9th, 2009

More looking looking

Who knows what birds think of

A whiff of fire

He showed up in black

Turned red then purple and green

Ghost man, clown and mad man. Yes

Finally just me and the noisy bird

The wind chasing time

He’s even disappeared now

I thank the gods of my ancestors

for giving me the sky today

Not angry gods, but busy feasting - somewhere rather

The essence of my stagnant impressions

Of what they are up to out there in the busy lane

Makes me none the wiser

How do they find time to work he asks

In Byron that is

They probably don’t, that’s true

So much to do and try - say why

Byron is, simply is the way it is

I am but a simple silly fool of a person

Stubling my way around the globe

Forgetting what day it is

and discovering that the computer thinks it’s morning when it’s afternoon

We are all hippocrates to various degrees

Something inside longing for what’s right and true

Making a difference, the way we know how

When we are little

we want to make it big

When we are big

we want to be small

No kidding

Kind of haiku poetry by Annica Mynax

August 16th, 2008

The new forest sound

An owl with hick ups

Misty moonlight

Grey and mountain shade

Icy winds and chill

Tiger snake sleeping

This heart will stop one day

Not now - one moment

Dawn and magpies waking

Am I here wandering

It’s cold, totally freezing

One hundred shades of mosses

A yellow box

Wattle, push button and pling

Anything there - still nothing

The years fly by

Like fairy wrens of the shrub

An apple a day

Palm prong

The sun is crossing lines

Curled over, passing

So many flying dogs

The smelly ones

Not one soul by the pool

Eat now or later

Want this, don’t want that

Having it too good are we

Looking for this or that

Searching and sifting through layers

of what has been kept

When so much has been lost

on endless journeys

Who speaks in that wind

The crow, the crow - always the crow

Gone now, waiting

So lucky this moonlit night

Not a sound or a soul around

Can you hear me

Waiting, hoping and postponing

Immediacy, magic

Who took that bite off that gum leave

Feng Shuei cat waving

Cheery gold and red

Beyond - something completely different

Mountains to be climbed

An easy task unless it rains

Does it rain less and less

Counting dragonflies

Metallic colours

Only this day

Very seldom in society I see

But always in nature

A wealth of perfection

Dogs shake well

Ears flapping loudly

Sound of music

Step by step, this journey, this life we have

Of growing up, growing old

Then it’s all over - gone. How strange

In Swedish:

Haiku på svenska:

Vi yrar här

Och väntar

En myra och jag

Sitter i snickarboa

Och täljer

På självförtroendet

Tänk att det flyter

Under ytan

På isen

Nu väsnas dom

Lorakiterna

Konkurrens!

Idag är jag tackam

Imorgon kanske jag nästan

Sliter ut håret

Stora hotande moln

Lorakiterna överröstar brandkåren

Hjulen snurrar baklänges

Så många valmöjligheter

Och här sitter man bara

När solen går ner

Jag strosar tills jag finner en myr

Dimma och skört gräs

Dagg under mina bara fötter
